DRose is dedicated to promoting an inclusive and respectful environment for all our contractors, associates, partners and community members. We are committed to preventing discrimination and ensuring equality in all our practices, in line with the principles set out in the Equality Act 2010.
Objectives:
To prevent discrimination, harassment, and victimisation in all our activities.
To promote equality and diversity within our business operations.
To ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and relevant legislation, DRose Code of Ethics and best practice guidance.
Scope:
This policy applies to all contractors, associates, partners, suppliers and community members engaged with DRose services.
Key Principles:
Equality and Fairness: We will treat all individuals fairly and with respect, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation or other personal identity factor.
Zero Tolerance: Discrimination, harassment, and victimisation will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Reporting and Accountability: Reported incidents of discrimination, harassment, or victimisation will be handled promptly, confidentially, and impartially, ensuring a thorough investigation and appropriate action in accordance with our grievance and complaints procedures.
Inclusive Practices: We will ensure that our practices and policies are inclusive and accessible to all.
Continuous Improvement: We will regularly review and update our practices to ensure they remain effective and compliant with current legislation.
Implementation:
Behaviour Expectations: We have established clear behaviour expectations for all contractors, associates, partners and community members with our Code of Ethics and agreement documents disseminated to all stakeholders.
Training and Awareness: We will provide training and resources to ensure that all contractors, associates, partners and community members understand their responsibilities under this policy.
Reporting and Addressing Issues: Any concerns or incidents of discrimination should be reported to management. We will take all reports seriously and address them promptly and fairly.

Monitoring and Review: We will monitor our practices and review this policy annually to ensure it remains effective and up-to-date. We are committed to quality practice and have external quality assurance partnership to assist with objective scrutiny of incidents and organisational practices.
Responsibility:
The management team at DRose is responsible for implementing and monitoring this policy. They will ensure that all practices align with the principles of equality and non-discrimination, as well as aligning with the wider implementation of D’Rose policies.
Review:
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and best practices in anti-discriminatory practice.
