A practical resource for our Community of Champions and Inclusive Leaders
Simplifying Ethics & Equity implementation is essential to enable more effective outcomes for everyone. The TRAACER Toolkit, a simple tool which allows anyone to complete an introductory Equality Impact Assessment of their leadership, a team, a project or plan. The Toolkit provides a foundation for improving practice.
Often without representation of those with lived experiences, diversity drives fail to have the desired impact. Decision makers, gatekeepers and leaders who do not represent historically marginalised groups, are challenged through the implementation of the TRAACER Toolkit to influence meaningful change which includes diverse stakeholders.
Equipping leaders with practical resources at the beginning of their inclusive leadership journey, embeds good practice and the value of co-design. Founded in inclusive learning approaches, the toolkit directs focus on evidence building and competency development.
The checklist uses 7 simple elements to assess inclusive approaches to assessment, planning, review and evaluation.
The workshop will explore each of the 7 criteria in relation to Equity focused best practice and real-world application for inclusive leaders. Focusing on ethical competencies which support successful implementation of diversity strategies, using simple and accessible methods. With examples from organisation leaders and guidance on addressing commonly experienced barriers. Connect with our Community of Champions for opportunities to join other professionals reflecting on themes from their experiences as inclusion champions. You can also join the discussion about the toolkit and ways to establish diverse stakeholder driven solutions.
