Code of Ethics

This policy sets out the ethical principles and standards that guide all DRose activity. It defines the expectations for integrity, accountability and professional conduct, ensuring that decisions and actions are grounded in fairness, transparency and respect for individuals and communities.

Code of Ethics Policy Statement

DRose was founded on our commitment to ethical practices at the core of everything we do. Guided by our principles of people care, earth care and fare shares we have outlined the ethical behaviours and expectations which inform the way we do business. We strive to create a positive impact on our clients, partners, employees, and the communities we serve through maintaining high standards of integrity, respect, accountability, excellence, sustainability, confidentiality, fairness, and collaboration.

Our Code of Ethics is a reflection of our dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour. It serves as a framework for our decision-making processes and daily interactions, ensuring that we consistently act in a manner that aligns with our values.

We believe that by adhering to these principles, we can build trust, foster long-term relationships, and contribute to a sustainable and inclusive future. Our Code of Ethics is not just a set of guidelines but a commitment to living our values every day.

We invite all members of the D’Rose community to embrace these principles and work together to uphold the integrity and reputation of our business. Together, we can achieve excellence and make a meaningful difference in the world.

1. Integrity

We commit to conducting our business with honesty and transparency. We will always act in the best interest of our clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring that our actions reflect our values and principles.

2. Respect

We treat everyone with dignity and respect, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. We value diversity and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and heard.

3. Accountability

We take responsibility for our actions and decisions. We are committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour in all our dealings.

4. Equity

We are committed to fairness and equity in all our business practices. We will ensure that our policies and procedures are applied consistently and without bias.

We recognise that Equity requires us to address financial inequalities. Although we do not currently employ staff, in line with our ethical commitments and GBC requirements, D’Rose commits that any future employees will be paid at least the Real Living Wage, as defined annually by the Living Wage Foundation.

5. Confidentiality

We respect the privacy and confidentiality of our clients, partners, and employees. We will protect sensitive information and ensure it is used appropriately and responsibly.

6. Collaboration

We believe in the power of teamwork and collaboration. We will work together with our colleagues, clients and partners to achieve common goals and create value for all stakeholders.

Our values include fair representation, trade union membership, employee voice groups, professional networks, and community action approaches to challenge inequalities and failures in organisations and society. We will always work with representative groups to improve outcomes for stakeholders.

7. Excellence

We strive for excellence in everything we do. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality products and services to our clients.

8. Sustainability

We are committed to sustainable business practices that protect the environment and contribute to the well-being of our communities. We will actively seek ways to reduce our environmental footprint and promote social responsibility.

This code of ethics reflects our commitment to ethical business practices and our dedication to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. By adhering to these principles, we aim to build trust and foster long-term relationships with our clients, partners and communities.
